This course is ideal for current Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, or holders of a Level 3 qualification who are ready to upskill.
Age requirements
Students must be a minimum age of 18 years or above at the time of course commencement.
Academic Requirements
Requires the NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) OR relevant experience in the health sector.
English Proficiency (International)
IELTS (Academic or General) score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5.0,
or equivalent.
English Proficiency (Domestic)
Domestic learners for whom English or Māori is not their first language must also have an IELTS (Academic or General) score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5.0, or equivalent.
Pre-requisite: All applicants must undergo a criminal record check.
