Course Overview

The New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Academic) (Level 4) is designed for learners who want to strengthen the reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills needed for academic study in Aotearoa New Zealand.

General Admission:

Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Programme Entry:

Applicants must meet Laurus Education NZ’s programme entry requirement in English, such as IELTS (Academic or General) 5.5 with no band score lower than 5.0, or an accepted equivalent.

If applicants do not have the above evidence, they may complete Laurus Education’s internal placement test to ensure their suitability for the programme.

International students must hold a valid student visa and appropriate medical and travel insurance for the duration of study.
